Applications Roll slitter / cross cutter

In the finishing department, papers and other materials are cut to the appropriate working widths from the large master roll. This length cutting causes cut edge dust.  Especially when the knife quality deteriorates.

In the squeeze knife process, fibres and angel hairs occur. More fine dust is produced during the racer cut.  No matter how and where the cut is made, dust cannot be avoided.

Non-contact systems can hardly or not at all break through this boundary layer.
