In addition to web and sheet-fed cleaning, we offer other products that are specifically used for quality assurance and testing.
These products are mainly used in laboratories, in incoming goods or in quality assurance.
Depending on the application and size of the sample to be viewed, we offer different LandscoLight models. See below
There is also the possibility to TEST the inspection lights..
Principle of operation and interesting facts about LandscoLight inspection lights:
Almost all processes that use pulp or paper-based products - printing, packaging and related industries - take place on or are related to the product surface. To prevent the production of rejects due to surface defects, it is therefore necessary to inspect the surface. Doyle Systems Inc. has developed products specifically for this purpose.
The Landsco inspection light illuminates the surface to be tested with a carefully controlled parallel light beam. Adhering contaminants (spray powder, paper dust, fibre ends etc.) are brightly illuminated on the side facing the light and form dark shadows on the other side. Indentations, pockmarks etc. form dark shadows in their hollows, while the opposite side is captured by the light and brightly illuminated. The combination of light and shadow gives the impression of magnification and enables the observer to see, for example, powder grains of less than 20 µm in size WITHOUT a magnifying glass.
As this is a trouble-free procedure and the lights are sufficiently robust for use on heavy machinery, ongoing inspections can easily be carried out on site. This enables the personnel to detect faults in good time and to eliminate their cause while they are still too insignificant and too rare for the production of rejects. This results in a successful and profitable working method.
The use of the lights in six continents is proof of the popularity of the inspection light in surface testing.
This is a handy mobile device. Weight approx. 6 kg. The area to be illuminated is approx. 50 x 150 cm.
This model can either be used to test the surface condition on the running machine or it can be mounted on a test table independently of the machine. The model can illuminate an area from 55 cm to 150 cm in width and up to 160 cm in distance. Due to the handiness of the device it can be easily used everywhere.

Landscolight Model H mounted on the running machine
This device is designed exclusively for mounting on a test table. Weight approx. 17,0 kg. Area to be illuminated approx. 100 x 250 cm.
The test bench lamp ITL (short light beam) was developed to convert a flat, even surface into a control field with measurable proportions. It can also be mounted along a moving paper web to ensure surface inspection on the running machine. This model can illuminate surfaces from 102 cm wide at 7.6 cm lamp spacing to 244 cm wide at 122 cm lamp spacing with an actual depth view of 152 cm. All control switches are conveniently located on the side of the machine.
