MOISTURE MEASUREMENT
Capacitive air moisture sensor
- Water vapor penetrates the upper electrode and reaches the active polymer film. How much water vapor is absorbed is determined by the relative moisture of the environment; it is measured as a capacitive signal
- Due to the small size and the thin polymer film this measurement is very fast
- Dirt on the sensor does not affect the accuracy, but increases the response time
- The polymer film is resistant to most chemicals
